EU import duty · Pakistan GSP+
Pakistani-origin socks enter the European Union at 0% duty under GSP+, against roughly 12% MFN on Chinese-origin goods. Form A / REX documentation accompanies every shipment. On a container of socks, that margin is usually larger than the price gap you are negotiating over.
About Socks House
A founder-led sock manufacturer in Faisalabad, Pakistan
Socks House is family-owned and founder-led. It was established in 2021 on a management team with more than 25 years in the sock industry, in Faisalabad — the centre of Pakistan’s textile industry. Knitting, finishing, quality control and export packing are ours; yarn, dyeing and washing sit with certified partners we name. Around half of our energy comes from solar.
We are a design-led partner rather than a copy-paste factory. Our in-house R&D and trend team develops yarns and constructions ahead of demand, and roughly a quarter of our buyer business begins as our own development rather than an incoming tech pack. That is what the strapline Socks Innovation…. is there to mean.

Factory & machinery
Sock factory and machinery — 180 knitting machines, 96–168N gauge
Everything below is ours unless stated. Where a process sits with a partner, the partner is audited and named as such — we would rather tell you now than have you find out at inspection.
| Knitting floor | 180 single-cylinder machines — 50 Lonati, 50 Weihuan, 80 Shenglong. 96N–168N on 3.75″ and 4.00″ cylinders. 200N fine gauge available via certified partners. |
|---|---|
| Toe closing | Rosso automatic seam and hand-linking for seamless flat toe. Lonati close-toe and auto-linking through audited partner units. |
| Finishing & QC | Boarding and pressing, anti-pilling treatment. In-line plus final AQL inspection with formal written reports per order. |
| Yarns | Combed, combed-compact, carded, core-spun and recycled cotton; organic cotton; bamboo viscose; modal; polyester and recycled polyester; nylon; branded elastane (Creora, Invista Lycra) on demand; acrylic. Specialist yarns — anti-static/ESD, flame-retardant, merino, moisture-management — sourced to specification. |
| Export packing | Labels, tags, polybags and mixed-size cartons, retail and FBA-ready. FSC paper and board. Barcode and FNSKU application in-house. |
| Premium line | High-quality combed-compact cotton with hand-linked seamless toe — luxury handle, low pilling, lasting durability. |
Quality assurance
Sock quality control — in-line, final AQL and third-party inspection
Quality here is a documented process, not a promise. Every order is inspected in-line and again at final, and the written report comes to you either way — including on the orders that pass.
| In-line inspection | Machine-side checks through the run on gauge, size, shade and construction, so a fault is caught in hundreds of pairs rather than thousands. |
|---|---|
| Final inspection | AQL sampling at packing, with a formal written report per order. You receive it whether the order passes or fails. |
| Third-party inspection | Welcomed at your nomination. Your inspector, your schedule — we do not ask for notice and we do not work around it. |
| Shade & continuity | Pantone matching with shade consistency held across repeat runs — the usual failure point on club, teamwear and NOS programmes. |
| Laboratory testing | Third-party lab test reports on composition and restricted substances, refreshed per programme rather than filed once and forgotten. |
| Independent audit | amfori BSCI, Intertek full monitoring December 2024 — 11 of 13 areas rated A. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I, the strictest class, for baby articles. Certificates on request. |

EU market access & compliance
EU compliance for socks: PPWR, GPSR, DPP, REACH and PFAS
PPWR applies from 12 August 2026 with no grace period. GPSR has been in force since December 2024. The PFHxA restriction lands in October 2026. The documentation for all of it sits with us, not with your buying office — which is the part most factories leave you to assemble yourself.
Direct-to-consumer & marketplace
Direct-to-consumer and Amazon private label socks
We operate our own Amazon seller accounts across five marketplaces — listings, pricing, advertising, reviews, returns and stock cover — not only the factory behind someone else's. For a DTC brand or marketplace operator, that means the person quoting your sock has also had to sell one.

- United Kingdom
- European Union
- UAE
- Saudi Arabia
Launch without the risk
Trial from 500 pairs per colour on a running article, so a new SKU can be tested before you commit to a full programme. You own the brand; we are the launch factory.
E-commerce-ready out of the carton
FNSKU and barcode application, polybag stickering, retail and FBA-ready cartons, mixed-size and multipack configurations, drop-split shipments to more than one fulfilment centre.
Multipack economics
3, 5 and 7-pair sets built to hit a target shelf price and a workable unit margin after fees — configured around your fee structure, not guessed at.
Stock cover, not stockouts
NOS yarn and greige held against running programmes, so repeat orders land in weeks. Losing rank to an out-of-stock listing costs more than the freight ever saved.
Compliance that keeps listings live
GPSR technical file and manufacturer details for your EU Responsible Person filing, packaging weights for EPR and LUCID, PPWR Declaration of Conformity, PFAS and REACH declarations. These are the documents marketplaces suspend listings over.
Demand read, not just a quote
We watch live marketplace demand across five countries — useful when you are deciding what to launch, not only how to make it.
Most factories can make your sock. Fewer can tell you why your listing is losing to a cheaper one.
Built for your channel
Sock manufacturing for importers, licence houses and retailers
Importers, wholesalers & distributors
The core of our business. MOQ 3,000 pairs per design, FOB Karachi or CIF/CNF EU port, USD or EUR invoicing, and NOS stock held against running programmes so repeats land in weeks rather than months. Send one article you already buy with your landed cost and we will return a straight comparison.
Licence houses & character programmes
Licensed work is a governance question before it is a knitting question. NDA as standard; artwork produced only against your written approval and never re-used, re-sold or shown elsewhere; licensed goods segregated in production and packing; samples logged and returned or destroyed to your instruction; licensor audit access accepted. Jacquard and logo capability to six colours in the round.
E-commerce, Amazon sellers & brand operators
We run our own Amazon seller accounts across the USA, UK, EU, UAE and KSA — so we work in your language: FNSKU and barcode application, polybag stickering, retail and FBA-ready cartons, mixed-size and multipack configurations, drop-split shipments, fast reorder cycles against NOS stock. We also read live marketplace demand data.
Sport socks, clubs & teamwear
Custom team programmes to Pantone matching, with shade consistency held across repeat runs — the failure point on most club programmes. Size runs from junior upward, half and full terry, arch support, ventilation zones, grip application. Small per-club quantities accommodated within a consolidated programme.
Workwear & PPE distributors
Cushioned terry, boot and thermal constructions with reinforced heel and toe, built for wash cycles and wear. Specialist yarns — anti-static/ESD, flame-retardant, merino blends — sourced to your specification, with test reports supplied per programme.
Medical, diabetic & pharmacy
Non-binding tops, light graduated support, hand-linked seamless toe and OEKO-TEX Class I yarns for skin-sensitive ranges. Sizing to your grading system. Compression to a defined mmHg specification can be developed and sampled on request — we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot certify before you commit.
Retail chains & private label
Retail-ready 3, 5 and 7-pair multipacks with your artwork, FSC packaging, barcode and price marking, AQL inspection with formal reports per order, and the full EU compliance pack above.
Stock, overruns & clearance
Production overruns and cancelled-programme stock become available periodically in full-carton quantities. Ask to be added to the list and we will send it when it moves.
